Joel Favazza founded Seaside Legal Solutions in 2010 as a response to the need for a 21st century law practice on Cape Ann. Joel has successfully represented both landlords and tenants; individual unit owners and condominium associations; construction workers and property owners; businesses and consumers; zoning relief applicants and impacted abutters in transactions, permitting processes, and also in Superior Court, Land Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Federal Court.
A descendant of Italian immigrants who settled in Gloucester almost 100 years ago, Joel has strong ties to his community and is proud to be able to contribute to it further with his practice of law. He is currently involved with various Cape Ann youth sport programs, is a member of the City of Gloucester’s Capital Improvement Advisory Board, having previously served as vice-chair and chairman of the Board, and is an elected member of the City of Gloucester School Committee.
