Brier Cliff Realty, LLC is a partnership of the husband-and-wife team of Andrew and Jayne Knott, Ph.D., who have longstanding ties to the Cape Ann area.

Andrew and Jayne have a diverse construction background that includes the renovation of a historic 1871 Victorian home and the renovation, reconstruction and expansion of a historic mill building originally built in 1844 and now home to Riverdale Mills.

Andrew is a co-founder of Riverdale Mills, the company that revolutionized the lobster fishing industry by inventing Aquamesh®, a first-of-its-kind galvanized after welding and PVC-coated welded wire mesh designed specifically for the construction of lobster traps. Today, more than 50% of all lobster traps in North America are built with Aquamesh® and many are in use by Cape Ann lobstermen.

Jayne is the founder of JFK Environmental Services LLC and HydroPredictions, a company that provides clients with science-based consulting services in climate change adaptation and hydrology, water quality and road infrastructure.
